A few weeks ago I went up to Herkimer, NY to do some Herkimer diamond mining. Herkimer 'diamonds' are really super clear quartz crystals, and the mine had a shop where they had all sorts of beautiful stones. Of course I found a jar full of lovely Labradorite cabochons and had to go home with one, and designed this mask around the stone itself. It's hard to photograph well but this stone has a LOT of flash.

I haven't really had time to work on any new mask designs, and I'm very happy with how this mask came out! This particular mask is headed to the Anthrocon art show, but if you're interested in one of your own, let me know. I have a few Labradorite cabochons on hand and could certainly make another. :)
