I recently replayed Final Fantasy 8. I know many people dislike it, the junction system doesn't make any sense and the main guy you get to play is a reclusive wanker... still, it's an enjoyable game with an excellent soundtrack and it features one of my favourite villains of all times, Sorceress Edea.
She struck me from the first time I played the game, her enigmatic personality, the depth of her story and her striking good looks. For once a proper villain, not... *prepares the flame barrier* ...a pompous powerplayer like Sepiroth in FF7 or a queer fool like Kuja in FF9. Edea is just The sorceress, a timeless woman of mysteries and great powers.

At first I felt like drawing myself dressed as her, but I realized I'd never fit in a dress like that. Instead, I drew her as an icy, beautiful gold dragoness.
