Were any kids scared of your fursuit?

Nope! It was very surprising, because most places I go, there are kids who are scared.... but not here! :3

Well, maybe some of that! But, I was surprised because it isn't every day that you see a big cartoon dog in Guatemala (not even clowns, really, according to the coordinator)

I've done fursuiting in a lot of environments, and the reaction you'll get largely depends on the circumstances. At outdoor charity fun-run events with a festive atmosphere, kids are usually excited to see a costumed character. Hospitals? Parents and family like to see the kids having fun, but kids that are patients tend to be defensive.

And when it comes to fursuiting, adults are just big kids. I get exactly the same spectrum of reactions - some excited, some afraid or shy, most in the middle but can be convinced to have some fun.

When will the kids ever realize that there's more to life than just trends (EX: fidget spinners & dabbing)?

Haha! I'm sure they know there's more to life than just trends... These kids are actually extremely thankful and polite. :3
