I know he's somewhat left of center, but there's a difference I suppose between being left of center and being regressive which he doesn't strike me as. As for who he draws for, I'd assume as an artist he draws for where he gets paid or played; as he does indeed have to eat on occasion.

Naw, I'm mostly just a Sanders style social democrat, I suppose lol. And yeah, I think tabbies are striped! But the black cat was a symbol of the Wobblies and, for some reason, they called it the sabo-tabby. Not sure why! Guess it just flows off the tongue better.

It's interesting that even today, the visual iconography for The Worker and The Capitalist are still rooted in the fashion and clothes of the early 20th century. Today our mega-rich plutocrats tend to be slender, almost unassuming white guys like Zuckerberg or Gates, but... we still know what a capitalist looks like.

Yeah a normal dude in a suit or khakis and a polo are too generic and don't have the symbolic power like say "the neckbeard" or "soccer mom" or "hipster" do this generation.

The downside to furry communism is that you can't insult the antagonist by calling him a capitalist pig. It's not an insult in this context, it's just a basic description. You can, however, upset him by calling him a "Bourgeois running dog." And if you encounter any actual running dogs who are aligned with him, you can call THEM capitalist pigs. Remember to keep your insult game strong when engaged in the furry class war.
