This young buck was nosing around, eating some foliage in the wooded area of our front yard. He didn't seem to mind me much once I stood around for a while. He finally scampered off after I tried moving around from the back of the house for a closer shot. This was the closest I could get with my feeble macro lens.
I was screwing around with the dioptric correction on my viewfinder the other day, so that I wouldn't need my glasses anymore, only to come to the conclusion that it would never correct for my astigmatism. I'm not sure where zero correction is, so I've been having trouble getting a perfectly clear shot since. Thankfully, there's such a thing called Photoshop (or GIMP, in my case). Auto Stretch HSV to balance the colours better and NL Filter Edge Enhancement to bring it a little more in focus.
I think I'm going to go fix my viewfinder problem after I load the next picture.
EDIT: Reuploaded. Forgot to resize before uploading , so the original had no exif (camera) data.
