Ok! Its FINALY DONE!!! At least for the most part.
This is COMPLETELY of my own desing. Its a small Narrow Gauge Outside Frame 2-4-0 intended to be gauged for 3 feet. But I also think she'd make a WONDERFULL 30in gauge loco as well.
When I thought up the little steamer I imagined her running on a small Railroad or Railway high up in the Rockies. the Road's main source of comerce would be from the hundreds of mines that dotted the area back durring the 1880's.
I wanted a small squat, but powerful road locomotive. My first attempt was this. ==> [link] <==
It's nice, to a degree. But it wasn't quite what I was looking for. I wanted a road engine rather than a switcher, so I added a lead axel to the new redition. Also this little loco just might end up being a Virtual Model for Trainz! (I sertantly do HOPE that happens!)
EDIT: I forgot to mention that my "Size Refference" is a bit too tall.

I was waiting for my dad to get out of the station restroom- when an Amtrak came through the station at 80mph- I didn't know that the air goes around, then under the train at those speeds(with a ton of force)- One of the attendants saw me at the last second and told me to hold onto a pole- that person saved my life.
I couldn't really find a link. But a "Poker Chip Draw" is where you place a poker Chip on your Gun Hand. Let the chip fall, then draw your gun and see who many shots you can fire before the chip hits the ground! The offical reccord was 5 shots!
The best Mythbusters could do was I think 4. They had a profesional Gunman too, but I don't think that did much good. The way I see it, Gunmen and Gunfighters from that point in time used they're guns as their livelyhoods. It was also a more "Gun Associated" sosiatey in those days. Today we're not. I'd wager that a Gunman from back then could beat the pants off a modern day soldier!
We think its amazing that TODAY somone can hit a target over a mile away. That is with a scope, with a wind gauge, and some other compesation tools. Durring the 1800's men did the same thing with FIXED IRON SIGHTS! NOW THAT'S SKILL!

I swear, that little loco looks like something at the Snoqualmie rust yard. Many of the engines there are either old mine, or heavy logging engines for pulling out the old growth trees at the time. Short, squat little powerhouse that could handle the tighter corners that were often necessary of the Central Cascade Ranges logging routes. Looks just a tad shorter than this one at Snoqualmie: http://image53.webshots.com/653/0/1.....5tpIbUz_fs.jpg
Sorry, the link didn't work.
Well this is a freelanced design, but I always make sure they're believeable. I wanted something that would be suited for frieght trians and occasional passenger runs way up in the Colorado Rockies. I'm realy interested in seeing that locomotive you mentioned.
