This fella was ordered for use in a commercial and they specifically referenced the Minotaurs from Narnia, and I got pretty dang excited because I had been wanting to try my hand at a detailed Minotaur piece after meeting Howard Berger who won an Oscar for his special effects work on the first Narnia movie (he studied my costume closely at a con and complimented my work eeeeeee)
I had to carefully make something that did not directly copy the movie's Minotaur style but also captured the realism in the film, and I think my style shined through in the end and I did not just pop out a copycat. There is a higher level of detail and realism than I usually do and tons more clay work than normal as well as even the insides of the ears have skin detail.
The horns are from DVC custom painted by me, the rest of the work is 100% crafted by me.

Minotaurs get an exception due to the short neck looking fine and also because they have predatory forward facing eyes.
Most my hoofers are neck vision because otherwise the shape gets so wonky due to where vision has to be, and the short neck irks me on things like a horse or antelope D:
I mean look at the difference here of how this character looks as tear duct vision vs neck vision

As a minotaur lover I highly approve. It's cool they gave the Narnia minotaurs as a reference for this. It was the minotaurs in Narnia that lead me to the furry fandom. It's interesting that they want it for a commercial since I've seen at least 2 commercials with minotaurs. One being a car commercial and the other a Geico commercial.
I love how big you did the ears on this guy. Also the size of the horns is enough to make me wonder how I could have horns on a fursuit without it being completely inconvenient. XD
