I really hope it's worth the wait! .__.
* though, arrr, the quality has much to be desired - I haven't coloured anything "for ages" ._. Plus the anatomyyyy XD *

Anatomy looks good to me, honestly. Just say the one with the leg near the front is hanging the leg off a ledge or bed or something. And even if there are problems, it's well masked by your ridiculously good coloring.
Niox and Freel do look a bit scrawnier than usual, though. Still, it's a very interesting take on the "half bird" design as you called it. I can see a number of things you did differently, but I must say, I really like the way you did their heads here, once again, and I like that you made their tails not... completely covering their rear ends, so to speak. The super thick tail always looks a bit strange to me.
The hands and feet are also fantastic (I'm taking notes on the claws) but the foot does look much bigger than the hands.
Overall, a fantastic image. Don't worry about your coloring, it looks better than 99% of the other artists here. I'm not saying "Don't improve" but I am saying "Don't worry about it looking poorly" because dang if it doesn't look nice!

Your colouring is great, even after such a long time without practising. It's always a joy to look your images.
