I... really didn't know what to title this. But it's still my personal favourite Messenger drawing to date <3

But indeed, aviation was a more or less brand new technology during The Great War and it was the first major conflict that utilised planes for both reconnaissance and for fighting. It really did change things in a very big way.

Tri has spotted a (poorly drawn) Sopwith Camel (my favourite~) here. This drawing started out as something very different, the sketch was from months ago, but I recently started to do a little bit of research on aviation during WWI and I've always loved fighter planes, so I couldn't help myself xD I think I had The Wind Rises in my head too xP

I also tried a bunch of new technical things with this drawing and it was fun! Backgrounds remain the bane of my existence, but I try.
