Yeah, time for another forgotten pic from the bowels of my sketchbooks, this time of how my fursona Heckfire looked back before I came to deviantArt. In "The Olden Days©" he was, very specifically, a toon cat demon. I used to torment my buddy Miguel Tigre and his characters with him all the time, even writing a skit where he declared his intent to seduce the mother of my buddy's main character, Ebony Conejo, sung to the tune of "Hellfire" from Disney's "Hunchback of Notre Dame" (take a wild guess at the core joke of that parody...).

After a while, though, I became a huge fan of an artist who, at the time, was named StickDevil (he now goes by "Sad Fat Duck" despite having a rabbit as his fursona...eh, go fig) and had a demon cat fursona that strongly resembled mine, so I deferred to him and changed mine. To be fair, I was going through a rough spot (OH, how little I knew of what was still to come...) and had wanted to redesign my avatar anyway, but this guy still holds a sentimental place in my heart.
