It seems to have become a "thing" with Vulpine types to travel with younger relatives. Being a typical fox-type I have decided to jump on the bandwagon and introduce my nephew, Patrick and his pal.
Patrick is your typical young fox kit, adventurous, curious, and prone to getting into trouble (much like his uncle Raynard)
Like most youngsters, Patrick has a pal he likes to hang out with. In this case, his pal is Gonner, who happens to be a zombie 'possum.
Gonner is a loyal friend and protector of Patrick. Gonner does not say much....being dead and all... but he is a good companion for Patrick.
Gonners "condition" stems from a serious error in road width versus distance & converging velocity calculations. But he has a good attitude and a wisdom beyond his age.....which may come from his seeing things from a "different" perspective.
Anyway....Patrick says "Hi" and Gonner says "......."

Yes. A friend of mine in KY was driving home late at night in the late Spring, and he noticed a Possum at the side of the road. The critter walked out across the road, and was narrowly missed by a car traveling the opposite direction. The Possum continued ambling across the road, then immediately turned around and walked back across the road in the opposite direction.
He guessed Possums must be the most depressed of Creatures.
(I really like Gonner's "BleaaaAAAh!" expression.)

Thanks Roy....I agree with with your friend. Possums never seem to have any expressions or body language at all. I experimented with Gonners "X" placement and tongue length to get just the right look. Glad you like how he came out. He has a wired tail, so he can be carried quite nicely.
