I look forward to more! I would suggest, though, that instead of a simplistic three-box strip or sticking to the box-only structure, using the shapes and borders of each panel to give the scene more motion, direct it, provide more information about Serenity's world and setting, etc. It's really easy to overlook, but it's crazy what a simple trapezoid shape or series of stacked rectangles can convey as opposed to the usual squares.
Sure! I would say if you look at some comic books or manga books, just to see how well the different shapes channel the motion and feeling, and then compare them to the way simpler layouts flow (like, for example, Sunday funnies), that could be a really great place to start.
For example, here's a Spiderman comic strip from a newspaper: (http://www.comicstriparchive.com/1_comics/Spiderman_090201.gif) and here's a page out of a Spiderman comic book: (http://pre15.deviantart.net/9565/th/pre/i/2012/290/f/2/coloring____spider_man_annual__37_page20_by_andreranulfo-d5ddfn7.png). It's incredible how just the little bit of slant here and there can change up the speed, the feel, and the pace, not to mention substitute the need for even words to direct the reader's attention.
