Cold, delicately as the dark snow,
A fox’s nose touches twig, leaf;
Two eyes serve a movement, that now
And again now, and now, and now
Sets neat prints into the snow
Between trees, and warily a lame
Shadow lags by stump and in hollow
Of a body that is bold to come
Across clearings, an eye,
A widening deepening greenness,
Brilliantly, concentratedly,
Coming about its own business.

Such beautiful eyes you've made!
There are so many things to appreciate about your art, but my favorite things about each piece by far are the expressions that can always be seen in the characters' facial expressions as well as in their eyes. Beyond the fur, the shapes, the colors, the lighting, the arches of the brows, the pull of the lips...everything you design in your creations is always so detailed. Your nature backgrounds are superb as well.
Oh. And I should mention that I love his muzzle, too, the way the brown fades to dark before washing into the silver face. Excellent.

Damn I love all of your work but this one in particular really sticks out to me. kinda reminds me of what my mate's fursona was like, God rest his soul. I really love the detail you put into the foreground blending the tree branches in with our furry friend. This is also a cool piece for me because I live in Colorado and this is a great representation of a beautiful, snowy, winter day here in Colorado. Great work Blotch! Just found my all-time favorite right here! Well done.
Oh man, drawing needles is such a pain. You're a trooper. :) I just about went crazy doing this back in high school: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/581137/
Oh wow, that's one of my favorite poems ever!!! And I'm not much for snow, but this is just such a beautiful scene. I love how the fox's evergreen eyes really pop out among the branches, that thought that's just on the edge of your mind. Although, with that blade in its hand, you can never be too sure of that fox's intentions. Wonderful piece <3
What a magnificent painting. So reminiscent of the better-quality storybooks I'd read as a kid. I really like this style of illustrating, where it's still has that illustrated look with the details of a painting. Cartoon-like but very detailed and highly rendered. Very nice=) I admit that I don't fave a lot of non-pornographic furry images, but this is one of those exceptions. Too well done to pass up. Thanks for sharing=)
I commissioned this lying thief
matrices to make me an artwork in the summer of 2008. Its been a year and I still have not received it. All she ever did when I contacted her over email, live journal and on here was block me and tell me to "go fuck yourself, stupid wetback."
For the record, the paid commission price was $45.00 and was supposed to be a con badge featuring my character.
