Okay I'm gonna get rid of the last submission. This is it continued.
Soon I'll get working on part 2 but right now I'm working on old songs so I at least have decent album content.
I actually started realyl getting into this song, it was cool to have that burst of effort. One day a beat just pops into my head and a whole song set comes from it.
Watch....in a few years this will be MY Tubular Bells!
No I'll never be that one track minded...
Enjoy it. Discuss it,

Some parts of it really remind me of the orchestral sets used in the N64. I don't know why, especially the pad/string sounds. One thing I could suggest is half time part of it, cut the tempo so you have a more clearer "second" part to the song. The overall, there isn't much I can fault it on. Good work =)
I look at different beat solutions. Something needs to keep a good rythm or else it'll get too close to droning and I kind of like a little hard beat trance, while this isn't it, it's close enough that it works.
I'm glad you liked it. I hope to have "Meditations part 2" take it in a different dirrection. A more purposefilled beat, a mixture of bigger aggression and deeper sadness. Maybe one day I'll have a final meditation!

I had another crazy weird idea: Make that beep travel around the stereo feild. Steady at first, then, just randomly panned left or right each beep...
Or maybe do a "full circle" trick: Pan it from the center, to the left (or right, doesn't matter which), then all the way over to the other side slowly, then back to the center. When you go from one side to the other, lover the volume, then bring it back up when you return to the center:
--|-- Normal
----| moderate volume
--|-- low volume
|---- moderate volume
--|-- normal volume
Makes it sound like it ran in a little circle in front of you. It just occured to me because of the really well balanced, but static stereo field in this peice.
Just an idea. :P
Oh, and musically speaking, it's fantasmic. I'll be waiting for p2. :D

It suprises me where the inspiration for this peice camefrom and what it became...
I just wanted to make something grindy and prodigy-esque. So aggressive big-beat or something. But then I started adding my ussual trancey elements and then it snowballs into another dramatic string organization.
But thank you very much ^_^
It feels very good reading comments like that.
