The show was full of WTF moments for me. Thousand Dragon happens to be one of them.

The entire first season is the worst. It's mostly because the game didn't actually have any clearly defined rules of engagement. They really just played whatever they wanted, since there were no rules regarding sacrifices or trap priorities and whatnot.
How about Catapult Turtle + Gaia destroying Castle of Dark Illusions and making it destroy all Havoc's monsters? HEART OF THE CARDS.
