Been wrestling with a bout of insomnia for the last couple of hours, and so far it is beating me quite soundly. So I drew a cranky Vimes to sooth me.
I think he might be saying, "When I come back, I am coming back with Detritus. If any of you ingrates so much as move a muscle, I will still arrest you, but Detritus will be the one reading you your rights."
Which, as some of you might know, could take a very very long time.
