Several characters from my Silverwing AU story.

Magnolia Vampyrum - A kind yet brazen female who although appearing small and soft in personality actually has a rather fiery and confident nature. She's the mate of Rico and tolerates his antics with the other females, knowing it has no meaning. Most of the time she has flowers woven into her hair.

Maul Spearwing - Strong and silent, Maul is a bat of few words but strong jaws and a sharp set of teeth to match. Although quite a brute by appearance he has exceptional self discipline and is very unlikely to lose his temper. He's mostly assigned to scouting and guarding the outer borders of the territory.

Cassandra Vampyrum - Shaman/healer/royal advisor of her colony. Cassandra if fairly young for the position (late thirties) but has more than proven herself capable of it. She holds an aura of mystery and always seems as if she knows something more than others. The markings on her face are traditional face paint used in her profession as a shaman, there are different designs depending on the occasion.

Shadow Nightwing - A rebellious and wild-hearted bat with a knack for finding trouble. He tends to have a lot of strange friends and connections, travels most of the time. He's also the older brother of Alex.

Savage Spearwing - Queen of the Brazilian Spearwing colony, a feisty female with a taste for conquest and war. As her ancestors before she aspires to leading her colony to greatness by overthrowing the Vampyrum and taking their place at the top of the food chain. She is known to be ruthless and vengeful, yet she would not go against the old laws and traditions. As it is custom she ascended the throne by slaying her mother, the former queen.

Teith Spearwing - The leading General of his colony, Teith is very well respected due to his years of battle experience. In other species he would be on his way to becoming an elder, however as a Spearwing he holds his position until he kicks the bucket, and he would not have it any other way. He is very strict with the soldiers, although most of the time he just looks old and tired he can still pack a punch. He was consort to the former queen and is the father of Savage, however he never held the position of king and continues to now serve his daughter as general.
