Her pack, the women, children, elders and sickly males wouldn’t lose her to these fiends. Her claws gripped the hilt of the bi-dent, venom dripping from the deep growl emanating from her chest.
They screamed their commands, a foreign tongue unable to decipher. <You’re not welcome here!> Her words echoed in their minds, though she was unsure if they could understand. With every force of her strength she hurled the weapon forward piercing through the chest of the nearest militant. Crimson sprayed tainting the pure white of the freshly fallen snow. The fellow soldiers tried to act but she’d leapt forward for the spear before the body fell to the ground. Soldiers pulled up their Lyte rifles prepared to destroy…
