A quick painting I did today at work on my lunch break after an especially stressful morning, so I probably only got to spend ~30 minutes to an hour working on it. Very therapeutic, I'll have to do quick lunchtime paintings more often!

This is fan art of the game Rain World, with the protagonist slugcat. It's such a fantastic, beautifully atmospheric game and it's absolutely tragic how underrated it is; it's honestly becoming one of my favorite games. Also the soundtrack is so, so good holy shit. I based the environment on the Exterior region, drawing from both Memory Crypts and Shaded Citadel for color inspirations.
