And... introducing: The Darkseeker, the most fearsome of those hooded characters yet, and the leader of the Covenant of Despair. His identity and motivations are, for the moment, a mystery.

I wrote an alternate ending for this chapter, but it didn't work with the story, hence the current ending. Also hence the delay in posting it.
