taben was watching. Luckily, Taben picked the little guy up and gave him to us. Here's the problem. Kittens are expensive, and neither one of us makes a lot of money. All of my commission money from now until, well until I make what we need, will go towards paying for his shots and neutering, and the antibiotics we had to get because he has a little kitten cold. In all we're going to need about $300. What do you say, help a couple of fellow furs out?

Make sure he gets a good cat food like Felidae grain-free or Natura's Evo for cats. Both dry foods have high protien, are 80% meat content. Yes, they are also expensive, but it's feeding one kitten, and it will help him recover faster. Also you don't have to feed them as much because there's less filler in it.
Don't get him neutered until he's at least 8 months old too. I've seen too many cats get neutered before the age of 6 months age develop massive problems if they happen to get crystals and stuff (most of them couldn't be catheterized). When I get paid next I'll donate a few bucks to the cause.

Thanks love <3 I grabbed some Nutro stuff we had for kittens, it's not too bad as far as fillers go. Little guy ate like his entire weight three times over in the first two days we had him! (though admittedly that isn't too much) as far as the neutering, 8 months? Won't he start doing that spraying thing before then?
As far as spraying goes, it depends on the personality of the cat. Neutering doesn't stop spraying, they can still spray- it just gets rid of the horrid intact male cat smell. As long as he has an easy going personality, he should feel that his territory is in peril to spray. 8 months is when most of the hormones come into play in the male cat. I've seen far too many cats neutered before 6 months and their urethreal openings were too small to put a catheter in- which resulted in the entire penis of the cat having to be removed to save its life o.o
