Lazy day, lazier dog.

My pet Greyhound is a lazy lap dog. She will just sleep all day then spend two or four hours being super energetic. On lazy days she sleeps right next to or on me because she has minor separation anxiety. In a few hours she'll get up and want to go for a walk, even though the summer heat is bad for her she loves taking short walks in it.
