The human curse
Because reality is much worse than any nightmare.
For Ubiquitor http://ubiquitor.deviantart.com/ Draw my OCs contest. The characters were mermen and the theme was 'Captive'.
Sorry for being so obvious and so dark, but the ocean is endangered by humankind and this is all I could think of while I was drawing, so here the result.
I used real photos of animals trapped in the fishnets as references.
