More surreal spirit animal stuff, this time almost intrusive into the real world. Unlike other times where it was obviously for the reader's benefit, this almost feel like it might be there. I mean... is Justine going to walk in on this scene and just see sharks in her husband's smoke and just not comment? Do Vul in general see these spirit animals and just not comment? Leon might by this point, after all, he and Sei have probably been doing the mind meld several times over the past month(s), so Leon is at the very least more in tune with his spirit deer than other Vul. Question is are their aspects to the spiritual that can be learned, or is it exclusively the domain of supernaturals like Sei, the First Vul, Alex Young, and whoever the mysterious fourth super powered individual is...
...that is assuming the first Vul isn't the third person you mentioned having powers. He did have powers of course, but he's dead... isn't he?
In any case, I fully expect next page to be a splash page with Leon surrounded by a school of sharks.

This is it, time to choose. Although I'm not really sure how much of a choice Leon really has here...
Meier is really playing up his devil fox motif here, and I love it. I really like the way you included the "spirit animals" in this one-- The decision to have them appear in something already present in their respective panels, like Meier's smoke and the stars, was very clever and makes their inclusion seem more natural.
Leon looks quite good here too. You can tell he's feeling a mixture of nervousness and determination from his body language alone, and that's great.
Heck, I almost feel like this page would make for a good print, sans text. It just looks good and conveys their relationship well.
