Well he was more ferocious looking and had this heavy shade inking like he was constantly in darkness, since this was a tie in to the style to a DC character named Lobo, who is like DC's answer to Deadpool, that had some gritty looking style; heck it starts off that Wile E. was a coyote genetically altered from ACME in the year 1949. It was for the first part of the comic in that style until the second half that it reverted to the Looney Tunes style.
