PCA Beach Day - Dressed Like Love
Burst and Leppy thought it would be cute and funny to buy species-themed swim clothes representative of their crushes...Honestly, who do these guys think they're impressing at this point?
You see the little pink splotches on Burst's foot pads? Pink is their natural color, but he uses a henna to dye it darker. Also, the bottle he's holding it not sunscreen. XP

Burst should be really, really, really glad the beach is one of the few places he will never find Ella! ^w^ I can just heard what she'd say now if she saw his trunks!

What I must say happens to amaze me the most in this? The BACKGROUND. Because I can honestly say those are absolutely killer to do. (Trust me, for all the times I every DO draw anything, I can seriously say that I know.)
I think this is the second picture with a beach theme that I've come across that I happened to say something about. This might be a reoccuring pattern that I will happen to say that I rather enjoy. It's the summer theme from it. Call the "in season" thing, y'know? I'll have to thank Kase for that, as you used the background well here.
That and it happens to give that playful vibe of the two. Making them seem like kid kids. (Rather than 20 year olds that look like 12 year olds. Or I'll just say the entire femboy population of Furaffinity.)
Plus it's them just being overall silly, and that keeps me entertained. I mean, Leppy dressed in the color of the BOYFRIEND she wants? OK. That by itself was a creative concept. I can't even lie. Ironically enough, because of Burst's original color scheme, Headlight's colors actually look good on him. (Saying NOTHING about that pose)

It was a happy fluke. I slapped it on the background as an afterthought, and Burst and Leppy's colors went pretty well with it. =3
Well, technically they're fourteen year olds that look like twelve year olds, but given their evolutionary status I think that can be forgiven. And given how childish they act, it does fit pretty well.
