Alien = 9/10 (impressive special effects back then)
Aliens = 10/10 (best one of the whole series)
Alien 3 = 7/10 (didn't like the quadrupedal one)
Alien Resurrection = 8/10 (The Newborn was fugly but has some good actors)
Alien 3000 = (Haven't seen)
AvP = 5/10 (hardly any gore or profanity)
AvP: Requiem = 4/10 (excessive use of profanity and gore feel more like a cheesy teen slasher film also the Predalien suck)
Unfortantly I haven't read the graphic novels or books :( but I'm hoping that the upcoming game would be good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTUkuF87XoM

Alien, was ground breaking in allot of ways... from a reluctant female heroin to (less seen is better) thriller... I pray it never gets tagged to be (remaked) because it would be Truly ruend by currentd day special affects.
Aliens was by far the best sequel EVER.. better effects and a nice way of continuing the original to its core values
Alien 3 (directors cut) was good.. would say i agree with you on your numbering so far.. Once again it showed Riply as a woman who truly DID want a man to care for her, but had to be her own savor (the seen at the end was just heart breaking) to have to make that final step yourself because you know there is no one else for you...
Alien Resurrection was ,, ,im sorry 3/10,,, the new born was indeed fugly, (ive seen mock ups of the first pick,, WHY THE F UCK they went with what they did is beyond my comprehenchion...).. most of the chairtors were usless.. you could have had just Riply on the ship with Destephino and made a better movie,, the crew of the Betty was pointless..

That "less seen is better" tactic do worked quite out well like the first Friday the 13th, I hope it dont too cuz look at some classics that got ruined in current day special effects Halloween, Dawn of the Dead, The Fast and Furious, Friday the 13th etc.

Got bored with the AVP series for them using CGI instead of puppeteers and animatronics for facehuggers, chestbursters etc. and for having no characetrs to like since most of them dies
