I just cannot decide what I want the background for this duo to be, so I'll post just this for now until I decide. I have decided to name this lovely lady Darya Sówka. Of Russian and Polish descent. She's a Spade, and has only been in the card world for about six years (time moves at half speed), so she remembers a few things about our world, though they've gotten a bit fuzzy. She remembers the meaning of her surname and the owls her parents used to collect. She also remembers her Jewish. . . uh . . . ness I guess lol.

Her horse's name is Ranger, a somewhat rare creature in the world of cards. Most of the animals have been distorted, and changed in some way, but Ranger is just a horse really. I liked the idea of something being rare by being normal. She's a good mare, well behaved and very well taken care of. Darya is absolutely smitten with her equine friend, and spoils her rotten. That's one of the reasons I chose to give Ranger brown leather when Darya wears black leather. She'd want her horse to wear something that looks good on her, not something that matches her own clothes.

I did start this before I started my Video Game challenge, so I won't give myself points for it, even though I really want to lol. Shit was hard.

This is also the FIRST time I've EVER drawn Darya and been happy with what she looks like. This is what I wanted her to look like. This is the girl of my dreams : heart: lol
