- "Hey Theo?"
- "Hm?"
- "Can you lean over here for a moment please?"
Mienshao looked at the Lurantis, who motioned with her head to do as she asked. He did notice she had both of her arms behind the branch, out of sight. His inner fighter was telling him to inquire about it, but this was his mate sharing the branch. It wouldn't be rude, but very skippable. So he did tilt his head towards Kurisu just a little...
- "Closer?"
...More than a little, admiring her natural "clothing" at this point as distraction...
Kurisu's arm was practically a pink blur for a split second. It snapped towards his head and quickly retreated back. Despite not touching him, Theodore still felt something incredibly light tucked behind his ear. The scent though was oddly familiar. He went back in his memories to the one time he visited her home islands, the flowers that grew there... and he blushed after realizing what it was, "A Gracidea?".
- "You look pretty with it!", Kurisu beamed.
- "Please, if someone saw me like this...".
- "You'd look like the gentle, caring teacher you are!"
His mouth curled up slightly into a smile, "Yeah, that might be accurate actually..."

Even after centuries, Giratina's little "stunt" has a visible mark on Unilia. Pokemon communities that have been separated from the main "Continental" pokemon are rediscovered every now and then, but some time ago an archipelago full of new species was added back to the maps. Legendaries do remember some more places, but usually don't share all of their knowledge with normal pokemon.
Despite the differences, contact was made smoothly and quickly, quickly enough that some of these pokemon still remember the days before that. Many choose to remain on the lands their ancestors have been living on for so long, but Kurisu was one of the curious young ones that chose to travel to Unilia's Western Continent, where most of the pokemon are gathered.
Theodore on the other hand is a 100% Continental pokemon (the blueish tint runs in the family by the way). Sawdust isn't his hometown, but his experience and an old dojo's master's request made him move there. They didn't meet each other until Theo was already well settled in... but all of this is a long story. For now, let's just say Kurisu owes good first impressions of Unilia to Theo...
