One way to contain Yinglets.. Throw them in a gravity chamber and turn the plating off!
As this Greater Yinglet researcher is finding out, using more devolved versions of her species is yielding (un)expected results, and also learning more about a devolved yinglets lack of intellect back in their time.
.. one thing though.. unlimited cartwheels are fun! Glass however... is not *THUMP*

It's a Scientific setting, might be time travel (cause face it, common yinglets are a ha'penny a dozen time probably wouldn't be affected much at all if a few just.. disappeared.), or a similar situation to chimpanzees and humans. Where a portion of the Yinglets chose to evolve to fit society (A AU involving Vizlets Enclave) while others decided to remain small yappy tribalistic ratbirds. Knowledge could still be gained from history.. so why not see how history reacts to the new world.
