Nephilim
They were caretakers in the shape of beautiful female white birds of a sentient planet named Xuchilbara.
They had a psychic connection to it and evolved to be aultristic living creatures.
Their blood, feathers, bones and such fuel for the plants and animals that lived Their very aura healing to others.
At the cost of a frail body and a short lifespan
Their bodies naturally wither away over time.
Losing ability to see, hear, speak and such as it focuses all of it's energy on the things around them
Eventually Just dying and becoming one with the planet once more in a cycle of life an death
Each nephilim is part of the planet's psyche.
Now that the planet has died, They are limited and few.
Only their flaws remain. Their feathers no more vibrant and beautiful.
Though still they are hunted for their parts.
Just out of myth they may still work.
Before the fall their personalities were like that of children, No pain, No hatred. No negative feelings. Just happiness. But with his death their protected minds were exposed to the harsh careless universe.
They still hold out hope that Xuchilbara will sing to them once more.
