This is my first real attempt at drawing in a year or something like that. It's supposed to be a pic of my dire-form, which is also my "fursona". I started it about 3 or 4 months ago, and haven't been very diligent with trying to make progress. Just tonight was the first time I've worked on it in about a month. As you can see, it's very far from being finished.
You can still see some of the skeleton-lines I started with to help with the pose, and the angle marks on the head-ball; and before anyone says the head looks small, keep in mind I haven't put the snout or horns on yet.
I'm gonna have to pretty much start over on the legs and feet; they're *way* too small. And I haven't even *started* on the wings or tail yet.
This is being done on ordinary printer paper, using a combination of a 0.5mm mechanical pencil and a standard #2.
I don't have a scanner; I took this pic by shining the folding lamp you can see in my desk pic on it, holding my digital camcorder directly over it, and using the still-photo function. Once I got it on the computer, I brightened it up a bit with Gimp.

Thanks for the input.
The reason the legs are so short is because this was originally going to be the SP7 version of the character, which has a slightly longer torso and shorter legs. Since I submitted this, I've scrapped that idea, and completely erased everything below the arms. Plus the legs were too thin to begin with.
I've also narrowed the shoulders a bit since uploading this. once I started fiddling with the arms, I realized how much too wide they were. Keep in mind, though, it's supposed to have a lot of upper-torso bulk, for the flight muscles.
And like I said, the head looks small now because I haven't added the snout, jaw, or horns yet.
Thanks again for the feedback!
