He and a friend had got finished binging through a dozen kung fu movies, and they both decided that they would take classes. His friend ended up taking classes in Baguazhang while he took classes in Wing Chun.

They'd only been practicing for a year at this point, so anything they learned was far from practical, but they would spar from time to time, which was a luxury that most others at the school did not have, as, for the most part, the schools tended to keep to themselves, Baguazhang fighting Baguazhang, Wing Chun fighting Wing Chun. The juvenile parts of them privately fantasized about combining the two schools and creating a new martial art, or about stopping criminals with their bare hands. But in reality, Buster continued to keep his handcuffs and his taser on him, just in case.
