Finally this is done! Most of you don't know this but about a month ago I was assigned a project, my grandmother is publishing her second book soon and asked me if I could illustrate the chapter pages. So I got 9 themes to work with, and an additional request which was the dancing couple. So a total of 10 fucking illustrations. I admit I was not happy at the amount of images that had to be done, especially since although there wasn't a set deadline it was a "the sooner they done, the better" situation.
In all honesty I did not have much fun working on those, I was very unmotivated and it was a source of stress and frustration, so I'm glad it's finally done. It definitely showed why I keep my commission slots limited, cause as soon as the number goes too high I go "eeeehhhhhhh.....".
And while this was done as a "request" I did get a bit of money out of it, far less than an actual commission of this sort would be, but it was still a pleasant surprise.

Now some of you might wonder why I'm not that excited about having my art published in a book. I guess partially cause I never saw it as a big deal, I mean I only got this job cause of connections and not cause I actually have the skill to professionally illustrate books. Partially also cause this isn't the first time, years ago I've drawn an image for my grandmother as a birthday present and she asked me whether she can use it as the cover for her first book. So yeah, one of my ugly ass drawings from like 7 years ago is now forever out there as a book cover. Yay me.

Also apologies for the ugly watermarks all over the place, but since these images were specifically made for that one book I do not want some random people to find this on google and use any of the illustrations for their own stuff.
