Bio:
Glenda Duke started life in one of the worst ways possible, left abandoned on the steps of a firehouse in West Virginia. She was moved in and out of foster homes never finding a true family. After graduating high school the doe hit the road, she had only one ace up her sleeve. That during her time in foster care she had learned all the ins and outs of the con game until she aged out of the system. Glenda then traveled the country working small time cons to get by and make ends meet. Until the fateful day she was hired as a lookout for a burglary of some kook scientist at a convention, the burglary was a bust. In the midst of the crime the invention they had been hired to steal exploded and caught Glenda and some flying squirrel girl in the blast. Glenda abandoned the gang and escaped to her apartment, counting herself lucky and going to bed she awoke the next morning to a surprize. Her fur had turned bright blue and her small apartment was now freezing cold. Frightened for only a moment Glenda remembered that the item the gang was supposed to steal was listed as a gene enhancer engine. Through some more online research she determined that the invention was supposed to help athletes reach maximum potential during workouts. Glenda then theorized that the machine had maximized her own genetic potential, but what to do now was the question. Glenda wasn’t the heroic type, but she saw little profit in being a supervillain. While pondering the possibilities Glenda saw an advertisement for a super heroine doing a charity auction, and an idea began to from in her fertile mind. It took only a few weeks of planning, and she soon reveled herself as the new heroine Glacia. Her introduction included beating the stuffing out of some local thugs, who were paid to take a dive, and a well thought out media blitz. After making the talk show rounds Glacia introduced her own charity that she funded through events and marketing her own image. So began her long con, Glenda embezzles from her own charity and poses as numerous employees in order to collect numerous paychecks. She also sometimes collects “lost” items during robberies in order to increase her personal wealth. But she zealously guards her public image and continues to look for the big score that will let her retire.

As Glacia, Glenda keeps away from big time super villains preferring to go after the small fish and try to keep her public image squeaky clean. She only tackles larger villains if she’s teamed up with another heroine in order to have somebody to blame if something goes wrong.




Current status: Glacia has moved to Colmaton, California, since she sees it’s super hero truce as a more ideal way to protect her identity and keep her charity scam going.
