It began everywhere over Kanto. "Now, Professor Oak, it begins." Mewtwo, using the voice of Gary Oak trapped inside it, spoke using it's menacing mental powers. "Watch as show you how a pokeball should really be used." Mewtwo and Lugia focused their combined psychic energy on the surface of the slave ball, it's glossy black surface reflecting wild kinetic energy and then beginning to pulse with a blue and black alternating glow. As the first dark pulse of energy spread from the now black slave ball, the signal spread invisibly across the whole countryside at the speed of light.

It had taken meticulous time and care and now was finally the time to take over. Months of work for Mewtwo, Lugia and their stable of legendary rubber poke'suits to place their decoys and traps and their own rubber pokemon among all the normal pokemon in the wild and captivity. A Rubbery Beedrill broke from it's swarm and began to fly into the closest town. Several glossy Onyx broke away from their quarry and started a hunt for bodies to possess. Rubber Rattata, shiny Spinarak, glossy Grovyle, and hundreds others all instantly became aware of their true purpose, as if waking up for the first time. They had to find people, anyone, and wrap them inside their bodies.

"That dark wave," Mewtwo spoke, "Will set off all the pokemon we've placed around the region. Soon my army will be multiplied by the thousands. Every last one of the faux poke'suits we've spent months placing around Kanto will seek out any warm body and encase it as quickly as possible." Mewtwo looked up at Oak with elated villainous eyes. "And then, once I have everyone either under my control or running for their lives, I will repeat the process with every other region on the planet until everyone is a pokemon." The psychic pokemon floated up and stared angrily into Professor Oak's eyes as he hung in his web. "Speaking of everyone being a pokemon." A wurmple suit floated up with a soft blue glow surrounding it. "It's time to get you dressed."
