Wolfie and His Train (ICE 3)
Wolfgang shows off himself with the train that inspired me to draw him, the German ICE 3. Drawing anthropomorphic high speed trains like Wolfgang is like drawing a "wingless aeromorph", so he's basically a "railmorph" despite of his airliner-like body.

That's the 1998 Eschede train disaster and the train involved was an ICE 1 which was the first generation ICE trainset. Unlike the ICE 3, the ICE 1 has powercars/locomotives instead EMU (electric multiple unit) technology. The ICE 3 (shown here) didn't actually exist until 2000 which was when it first came into service. I never make fun of actual disasters, so I do feel sorry for the victims in the Eschede wreck, especially since it was a problem in the train's trucks/bogeys which were later corrected when other ICE 1's were temporarily removed from service.
