Plucked from the waters this lovely perennial stretches to see who sought her beauty, her grace. Like the Goddess Lakshmi arising from a pink Lotus, so does this glorious icon of womanly beauty and fertility. ~

I saw the prompt and could not help but draw my wonderful friend Lotus for it. Had no idea what would come of it but I think it came out well!

I used watercolor pencils, alcohol based markers, line pins and an alcohol soaked eraser to do it. Needless to say, the pages behind it are useless now, hehehehe.
