Surprise! I draw Pokémon too XD Then again, with my name, perhaps it is more surprising I haven't drawn any sooner... Calvin here is one of a great number of characters I made for a story on Writing.Com where Pokémon battle with stink. I've also had a few other uses for him since, but now, I've finally drawn him! Eventually, I hope to draw my whole cast from there.

Anyway, a bit about him. Calvin is an inventor and a mercenary, often using his mercenary work as a means for testing out his inventions. He's known for taking just about any job, though his personal code involves aligning his loyalties to former clients who not only provide repeat business, but pay on time. in short, this basically means he will not turn on any good employers in the event someone wishes to hire him against them, which thanks to his reputation for being skilled at his job, would prove to be an issue if he had to work back and forth between clients who are trying to stab each other in the back.

Calvin has few morals when it comes to his job. he'll do nearly anything without a second thought, though when he's not on the clock, he can be a pretty decent guy. Calvin possesses remarkable charisma and charm with the intelligence and wit to back it up. This of course helps him get very lucrative deals as well as help him get out of trouble. He can be a bit rude and vulgar, but overall comes across as friendly. However, he also has quite the ego and thinks of himself very highly.

As for Calvin's inventions, Calvin professes in both technological and chemical constructs. His outfit consists of a high tech body suit that not only allows for easier carrying of his other gear, but keeps him well defended from physical and elemental attacks. It's also designed to respond to his electrical abilities which trigger the antigravity boosters in his suit to allow him to fly, even with the heavy gear on him. His second piece of armor is a gas mask that prevents the inhalation of undesirable chemicals as well as protects him from the stench that his weapon produces.

Offensively, Calvin has a number of tools at his disposal. The fact that he usually tries to fight with overwhelming stench has lead to him creating a number of chemical compounds to enhance his already potent gas as well as give it various effects such as paralyzing opponents or weakening their will. His other weapon of choice is his stinkthrower, which is essentially a modified flamethrower that instead of spewing out flames, it fires out Calvin's liquefied flatulence. To do this, Calvin fills the tank with his own gas through a hose. As it enters, it couples with another chemical compound that turns it into liquid. in the event he ever needs to use it in gas form, a few settings on the gun can return it to a gaseous state. Of course, he can always just do that the old fashioned way.

But yea, that's Calvin, a very stinky Emolga.
