I got this baby a few months back from 
bodyhorror over on dA in exchange for the Blue Leloko bby (Ariel) they now own. The design came with a maaaassive fursuit tail made by 
lobitaworks (over here - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16407519/ ) which was shipped to me all the way from America ;;w;; I've never owned a professionally made fursuit part before (other than the shoddy stuff I've made myself, but I'm getting better) and since the massive 4.5foot tail is already made I decided my best shot at making a fursuit would be through this gal, so I gave her a re-design!!!

My first priority was changing the body to be much more cartoonier and closer to that of a real red panda. She's very squishy and huggable which will be great for a fursuit <3 I love these kinds of designs the most, rather than ones mimicking human anatomy (unless they're actually human haha xD). I also edited a couple other minor things like standing on the whole foot, paw pads, facial structure and etc. Then I edited the markings to be a little bit more red panda-ish on the face, and made her whole belly black to match the species closer as well (i looooove their black bellies), and fiddled with a couple extra markings. Finally I changed the stain pattern markings to be closer to the rest of the design's colours, and gradiented them specifically to match a type of fur I'm going to order from mendels! Over here - http://www.mendels.com/Rainbow-Sherbert.html (the "Cotton Candy" colour choice). I also changed where the stain marking is on the body so that it doesn't clutter the face markings which are more complicated now. And that's about it, I think!
Maybe you'll be seeing some fursuit making stuff on here soon? Who knows xD I don't have the budget for alllll the furs quite yet but i can always get started sculpting foam pieces like the head and limbs. I want to give her a dropped crotch on the final suit. We'll see if it turns out good, or a mess! xD But other than that, thanks for taking a look! Catch you later~
