This might sound kinda funny to most furs, but in my native culture (and some related cultures I've heard about being elsewhere but have never seen directly), fat is believed to be defensively strong just as much as muscle is offensively strong. They believed that someone who had the maximum fat possible would also have the maximum defense possible, such that they could never be hurt by normal things or pushed around by others (but my culture strangely also believed that the person could move about easily of their own accord, just somewhat slower. But then again, Defender class is always slow moving, right? Or is that just another strangely different belief my culture taught me?)

I mention this because if this sort of thing happened in an anime/cartoon created by someone of my culture, then this fattening up thing would improve their defense greatly, so actually Yohei would be More able to protect others, not less, upon such an event.

...well, that and I think that, now that I remember to, I ought to tell you about this so you understand that I think of fat furs not only as cute and sexy (though that they very much are), but also as powerful Defender class creatures with nearly indestructible defense. Just thought you should know that, take it as you will.... :3
