In 2012, the high-school where I had studied years ago, requested me, who had graduated 4 years earlier, and who had been the mascot for 3 and a half years, to help them redesign the wolf which represented our school. Despite drawing quite poorly, I managed to improve upon my original design, and then iterating on it, commissioned it to a mascot-costume company in Mexico City for whom I also help promote their mascot costumes. This is the first version of Xavier, a costume which was more toony, and which is kept in the lockers of the school by now. Needless to say, I have worn him a few times only.
This is just to show how the concept became a reality, and it showed me that, from an idea to a solid thing there is a way, but you must be willing to walk it in order to consumate it.
