Are there any deer in Morning Light Forest?

Many. We've already met one, though I can't remember his name. A buck that's friendly to Tobur, and it's mentioned that just as the local wolf pack claims a lose sort of central authority over mammal predators, the local lead deer buck claims the same over herbivores. It was technically his job to welcome Nele's warren to Morning Light, and it was implied that the tried, but the isolationist bunnies fled.

Edit: Noan is the roe buck friendly to Tobur. Valer is the lead roe buck, who's job it was to make contact with the newly arrived Ashtree Warren

This is the only species of owl I've seen up close irl. They're absolutely beautiful creatures, fluffy body, and really sharp-looking talons.

Plenty. There's lots of small snakes types, lizards - amphibians dont count as reptiles by family, but they speak the same language.

Ah, okay so the frogs can talk with the snakes. Damn now I am reminded of the fable of the frogs that demanded a king. Back to reading Aesops fables

Reason I use semicolons is most people dont know the actual difference and they're visually more comfortable to look at.
