PLANT MONSTERS.
When they're not busy producing ketchup, they're working the fields or doing something akin to gardening. Hence the shovel.
Looking at the label on that ketchup bottle, I can see that I've created a very odd world for these monsters to reside in. What do you think?

Ketchup itself is a lot thicker, a lot easier to pool up than blood, which would just splat on whatever. If you popped a balloon full of blood (don't ask where all that blood came from, this isn't something that can be easily answered) and a balloon full of ketchup and had it fall on the floor, and measured how tall the puddles were from the floor, the ketchup itself would have a bit more height to it than actual blood, if that makes sense.
If you wanna draw the ketchup, you could give the """blood""" a bit more shine and shade to it, texture it in a way that much more resembles ketchup instead of blood.

Pointless though it is - I'm genuinely disappointed the category system here at FA doesn't allow for plants, crustaceans, mechs*, etc. The categories may well be created based on a 'need' for them - for example there has to be at least 100 plant character artworks to justify it getting its own category - but sometimes it just takes a little bit of forward-thinking to encourage people's creativity; By that I mean that if the plant category were there it might encourage people to create characters to fill that void.
Or maybe we could have a something like a 'Create an Unconventional Anthropomorph Character Day."? Maybe that would encourage people to think outside of the box and make something other than a dog or cat anthropomorph.
*Last I remember these didn't have a category.
