Gomodora was the monster of the week only featured on Episode 15 of the Great Mazinger series - it resembled a newt with a frilled neck, a large main body, a tail that features its true face on the tip, and a pair of bladed wings on the side of its body. Gomodora possesses the unique ability to produce venomous lizards from the head on its tail (newt size red versions of himself) that can attack enemies and even use a deadly venom that can destroy armor. It is capable of flight using a couple rockets and its bladed wings for balance. Its hide makes it resistant to projectiles. The mouth from its main head releases liquid nitrogen that can cause a quick dry freezing, while its eyes release explosive beams. The frills on the neck can also form up to become a cone or spin rapidly like a fan. Gomodora had an almost near identical look to another Reptilian Warrior Beast, Grosden from the 1974 Mazinger Z vs The Great General OVA.

Gomodora is an interesting case among some of the warrior beast shown, while not one that is shown to have a backstory, he seems to have a code of honor in fighting – when he bested Great, Venus and Borot in its first fight, it did not follow any of them when the Mechas retreated as it preferred fair fights.

Gomodora, under the command of General Draydou, made its presence known when it unleashed a plague of its minion and started to lash on and poison people and animals alike – including Shiro and the Borot Gang. As Boss tried to avoid Nuke and Mucha (who were covered by the creatures and Boss having a phobia of) Shiro returned to the Science Fortress harm and with a fever, Tetsuya took of to the city to see the mayhem caused by the animals when he met with Archduke Gorgon and some of the Gomodora Minions – one of which, jumped onto him and cut him in the neck. In the mist of the chaos, the real Gomodora is unleashed, and June launches Venus A to intercept, but the beast proves impervious to her attacks and has her corner. By the time Tetsuya arrives, he had entered the fever stage of the venom's side effects, but deploys Great Mazinger to help out Venus. Boss on the Borot, running from the minions, sees June in trouble and helps out - Gomodora spawns more of it minions and covers Boss with them, causing him to enter into a panic, misstep, and fall into the sea with Venus, only to see Salt Water kills the minions. Borot retreated.

Great Mazinger arrives and proceeds to fight, but the combination of the Monster's strength and Tetsuya's own condition do to the venom, provides the beast with the upper hand. Great falls to the sea, where it finds Venus A, and takes her to the shore, with both pilots weaken by their condition and unable to fight the two retreated for treatment. Gomodora refuses to follow them and finish them, Draydou explaining he enjoys fair fights.

While Tetsuya treated for his venom and come up with a plan, Boss put up an improvised lab to make a drug to kill lizards (DUNNO WHY HE DID THAT WHEN HE KNEW ALREADY THE DAMN MINIONS WERE WEAK TO SALT WATER BUT HE DOES EXPRESS IT'S TO MAKE MONEY OUT OF IT, tho it has Borot on a funny meditating pose in the background and Boss selling this shtick as salesman – only in his deluded mind, heeh, that's Boss for ya). Boss test it on a captured minion and, SOMEHOW, it makes it grow and runs from it on the Borot.

Great and Venus are deployed once more having improvised a new attack planned to detatch the Condor from Great and attack the beast from the weak spot from behind – the real face at the tip of the tail. The two fight Gomodora once more, but the monster seem to have read their tactic and avoided to show them its weak spot and once again bested Great and blinded Tetsuya's view with it's minions, covering the wind shield. Venus fired her missiles which knock Gomodora from the attack flight, but it freeze Venus, and Great fell from a cliff. In the moment, Borot arrives running from the now grown Minion, Boss helps out by telling Tetsuya to pour salt water on them, as Tetsuya takes off Boss gets frozen by Gomodora and Crushed into pieces by the Giant Minion. Great plunges into the sea and clears the wind shield from the smaller Newts coming out, slices the minion with it's wing and unfreezes Venus.

Now ready for Round 3, the Beast approaches for a rear attack with its Cone Shield - the Condor separates right as the Beast hits Great and Tetsuya takes it chance to destroy the real face in the tip of the tail. As Gomodora agonizes, the Condor reattaches to Great and Tetsuya finishes him with a Thunder Break attack, making it explode.
