This was actually a fun one to put together because of the complex blade shape. the first blade shape i did for this one in the final smoothing was at 20,000 poly!! *faints* but i managed to get my act together and i optimized it to 2168 poly for the blade itself. the overal poly count is 4888.
heres the odd thing when i screwed up the first model and made it horrendously heavy on the poly it took me like 2 hours to make it while i finished the blade for the new one in like 40 minutes so yeah seems i learned something about my techniques.

I could actually see myself using a spear like that... It would have to have a Halberd shaped blade, though.

Working on it now. But you're obviously better at modeling. How about we do a collab. You do the model, export it as an .obj. Send it to me, and I'll material/light/render it.

lol well for my sakes in the troubles this blasted thign caused me i'm going to perform the final render on it. but i did make a double headed axe recently

Sounds good. I got a Dual Core 3.33Ghz 8GB Ram machine here. Rendering goes lighting fast.
