In Mother Russian, the capture of land, prisoners of war and body count is the extent of a food fight.
Commission for Kokeiden
This took WAY longer than the last commission I did for Kokeiden. But I'm happy with the results none the less. It was still a treat working on this project. It was a pleasure working on these characters, since I had intended on drawing a few of them in the first place.
But I digress
This week on Chopped, the season finale reaches a boiling point higher than the Cuban-Missile Crisis when Soviet finalists, Nalia and Van, get their hands on their ingredients and literally use it against each other for the title of last chef standing (again, literally).
The special guest judges (World famous Cafe entrepreneur: Wego Squeaks. And Food Satiric: Wolf J. Samuel) expected there to be tenderizing, salting and frying of various things. They didn't expect it to be the chef's themselves.

I know what you mean. It's a shame sometimes that that's what we're reduced to in the community. I often am ashamed that my urges get the better of me, impulsing me to set aside clean and regular parodies which were my true passion coming into the community. But I do believe in moderation, and I often wish for it in today's standards.
