“It doesn't matter how scared you get! If you have the guts to do something about it, then your strong in my book!”- Soliana
*Personality: Champion of the Hildr village and member of the Valkrus guild, Soliana is an amicable young lady with a boisterous disposition and a will stronger than the weapons she carries. Delving into various adventurous exploits like her fellow Vikings, Soliana is a courageous warrior, yet she still retains the heart of a fair maiden. Despite her line of work, Soliana is remarkable kind and surprisingly gentle, showcasing a friendly and softer demeanor outside of battle. One aspect that perfectly represents Soliana’s softer side is her genuine love for children and young creatures. The children of her village regard Soliana as something of a hero, looking up to her due to her reputation and the strong confident aura she presents; as such Soliana often acts as both a big sister and mentor to many of them. Soliana will more often than not spend time with the children of her village if she is not engaged in guild related activities or battling some form of threat, playing with them or telling them stories of her various adventures and exploits. In fact, Soliana has made a habit of bringing the children of her village various trinkets from her travels if she is away for extended periods of time. Her love for children is so great that Soliana will go to great lengths to protect them and wont so much as raise a hand to them, snapping into sheer anger if she sees any child being mistreated or hurt.
While normally presenting a jovial and friendly demeanor on the surface, Soliana has a much more aggressive facet to her personality. Soliana is notorious amongst both the Valkrus guild members and the Apostles for having a short, and often times explosive temper that can flare up at a moment’s notice. This temper causes Soliana to lash out violently at those who anger her and because of the frequency of these hot-tempered outbursts, many of her allies fear her anger more so than the threats they have to combat on a regular basis, with many shuddering at the mere prospect of agitating her. In fact, some have compared angering Soliana to suicide, with the only notable difference between the two being that with suicide, one would be able to choose their death, making it a better alternative to angering the fox. While Soliana only uses violence or intimidation when the moment truly calls for it, she has a habit of punching people should they do or say anything that she deems idiotic or rude. However, when someone does anything that conflicts with her morals or if her loved ones are hurt, Soliana’s anger boils over, making her extremely volatile. At this point she will release the full extent of her anger on her intended target, leaving wreckage and ruin in her path. The best instance of this was during her earlier years in the guild as a bar maiden in which she severely injured several high-ranking members and nearly destroyed the tavern in the process; this was due to them offending her to the point of sheer rage. Despite this anger, Soliana is not a monster as she does not attack indiscriminately and still retains a level of cognizance to stop herself from hurting anyone other than the focus of her fury.
Soliana’s most dominant trait would undoubtedly be her pride as many (if not all) of her actions and mannerisms stem from it. This pride is the result of Soliana's time in the Valkrus guild as she has garnered much respect and admiration through her exploits as one of its finest members, and as such she is very confident in herself and all that she has and can do. When it comes to matters concerning her guild status, combat skills, and the overall respect she has earned, Soliana takes great offense if anything she is proud of is insulted or mistreated, regardless of whether its directly or indirectly. The reason for this is due to Soliana viewing all that she has earned as extensions of herself, and as such to disrespect anything Soliana is proud of is to disrespect her directly. This pride extends to her friends and allies as Soliana feels honored to fight alongside the various warriors who share in her ideals or sense of honor. Despite pride being the basis for much of Soliana’s behavior, she’s not painted in a conceited, arrogant, or holier-than-thou light; rather she comes across as someone who is very confident in her abilities and accomplishments and simply wants those around her be aware of this. This is heavily emphasized by how Soliana acts as she does not actively seek praise or recognition for what she does in an attempt to inflate her ego nor does she take credit for things she did not do. Even when she tells stories of her adventures and various exploits, Soliana is sure to tell them as they happen instead of grossly exaggerating details in an effort to make herself look good. This shows that while prideful, Soliana isn’t controlled by her ego and remains firmly grounded to reality. However, despite how grounded Soliana is, if her pride is damaged, she will go to whatever lengths it takes in order to restore it, refusing to rest until then. From this, it can be assumed that pride is not only Soliana’s greatest trait, but her greatest weakness.
Aside from her pride, one of Soliana’s more defining traits is her indomitable fighting spirit, which has been hardened and tempered from her years of combat. Soliana derives a great deal of enjoyment through battle and as such, she is always ready for a fight, be is a friendly sparring match or a decisive struggle. Due to this passion, Soliana will always challenge those she feels will give her a worthwhile bout and is quick to accept challenges issued to her. Rarely showing signs of fear or anxiety, she is always the first to rush into battle and she will often times display a child-like eagerness if given the opportunity to fight a strong opponent. Soliana is not intimated by sheer numbers or superior strength as it only fuels her excitement when fighting and adds to the challenge the clash will present for her. However, she will express mild disappointment if her expectations aren't met, usually in playful fashion rather than in a manner that would suggest superiority. Due to Soliana's love for combat and challenge combined with her confidence in her ability, she is prone to taking risks by imposing some form of limitation on herself in order to make the fight more challenging, such as not using a weapon or refraining from using her sparra. In fact, there have been instances in which Soliana will deliberately hold back in order to enjoy her bout longer. The only times in which Soliana discards her notion of entertainment is when her fighting spirit is fueled by anger or if the opponent is deemed too much of a threat and endangers the lives of others, at which point Soliana is sure to end the fight quickly. It should be noted that with Soliana's fighting spirit comes her relentless fortitude, showing an outright refusal to back down from a fight, regardless of the odds stacked against her. However, while this perseverance can be seen as admirable, it can unfortunately be attributed to stubbornness, as Soliana will fight regardless of her health or physical limitations, disregarding the negative effects it may or may not have on her. This self-destructive behavior can again be seen as an extension of her pride, as Soliana views her own retreat as cowardice and thinks of it as a stain on what she fights for, stating that she would much rather die in battle than live knowing she ran away. Oddly enough, Soliana is slightly more forgiving of defeat as she uses it as a tool to push herself into further improving her skill; so it’s safe to assume that she's more forgiving of failure than simply giving up. Despite her overall enjoyment for a good fight, Soliana isn’t blind to her own morals as a warrior, preferring an even bout with those she faces. This is proven by Soliana’s actions as she won’t battle anyone significantly weaker or younger than her, as well as turn down a fight with those who are sick or injured. While this shows that Soliana wont overstep her own morals in the pursuit of a good fight, it also shows she has a surprising amount of restraint as well, showing that while her sword is always at the ready, it is not always drawn.
*Abilities: As the Valkrus guilds strongest member, daughter of two of its finest hunters, and god daughter to the guild master, Solana is undoubtedly a superb combatant with many years of fighting experience to show for it. Being trained at a semi-early age, Soliana has been able to master various strategies and weapon styles allowing her to combat nearly any threat that presented itself to her. Even before she joined the guild and began making a name for herself, Soliana showed great promise as she was able to brutally injure several higher-ranking guild members in a fit of rage, having no prior battle experience what so ever. Even after just joining the guild, Soliana showcased a variety of different talents that made her a superb warrior, such as being able to fight large creatures on her own and being able to take on multiple opponents at once with few signs of fatigue. Her most notable accomplishment however was being able to vanquish the fiery Incindrus by herself despite not fully unlocking her sparra at the time.
*Sparra control/Type: Soliana possesses the Sun sparra type, an equal combination of fire, light, and life based sparra. The Sun sparra allows Soliana to manipulate combustive energy and channel it into either her body or weaponry, allowing her to unleash devastating bursts of power in the form of violent explosions. Soliana conventionally uses her sparra to add force and destructive power to her already substantial strength, providing an extremely useful two-fold style of attack. Aside from its destructive uses, the Sun sparra allows Soliana to manipulate her body temperature, allowing her to increase it exponentially in order to perform feats such as surviving cold climates or preventing others from getting close to her. When Soliana first awakened her sparra her control was questionable at best, but it improved greatly during her induction to the Apostles, allowing her to use her power more thoroughly than before and with significantly less expenditure on her part. Despite being an advanced sparra type, the Sun sparra doesn’t fully utilize the base elements that comprise it, instead forgoing it for destructive power rather than overall versatility, making it somewhat of an oddity for an advanced type. While the base sparra types can be seen, they appear as mere byproducts of the overall sparra type; for example: the fire sparra type can be seen, but only as flames or cinders from a resulting explosion caused by the sun sparra itself. Soliana is still able to access the base sparra types, but prefers to use the basic fire sparra in order to increase the damage of her normal attacks. However, while she doesn’t utilize the life or light portions, it can be assumed that she can use them individually.
*Hand-to-hand combat: Soliana is very skilled in both armed and unarmed combat thanks to her training in the Valkrus guild. While she lacks the grace and finesse many of the other Apostles have when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, she makes up for overwhelming strength and endurance. Soliana utilizes a style of Viking based wrestling to take down her opponents, making use of a variety of grabs and tackles, preferring to rush her opponents instead of taking a tactical approach. Soliana has a high level of endurance and stamina, allowing her to fight for extended periods without tiring, and with her surprising speed and reflexes she is able evade oncoming threats very easily. However, one aspect that serves Soliana well is her sheer physical strength which can best be described as herculean. Soliana’s raw power is her greatest asset and with it she can be deliver blows that can leave her opponents reeling and can take down much larger threats than herself, such as the creatures she has to combat on her travels. This strength alone has allowed Soliana to accomplish notable feats such as breaking off the Incindrus’ horn with her bare hands and goring the beast through the heart with it, something that many guild members remarked seemed impossible due to the monster’s durability. The most interesting thing to note is that Soliana’s strength is NOT sparra induced or feed, meaning its natural and all her own. This could be the result of her unchaining her sparra when she was little, as opposed to awakening it normally like the other Apostles.
*Weapon Skills: Soliana is extremely proficient in a wide assortment of weaponry given both her profession and the various warriors she has met along her travels. Soliana’s weapon skills are unquestionable, so much so that she can use various weapons in ways that are unconventional to their design and still achieve victory. Soliana seems to favor weapons that represent or support her own fighting style: hard hitting and difficult to defend against. Soliana favors the likes of great swords, battle axes, and hammers in order to accomplish her goal. Due to the strength she commands, she can easily use them in a much swifter and fluid manner than a normal person could, allowing for high efficiency and more viability. The force Soliana delivers with her strikes can easily cleave opponents in two and savagely destroy structures in the process.
*Weapon Contracts: Able to use a wide range of weapons, Soliana can make use of most weapons given to her so long as they complement her fighting style. However, her favoritism for some prevents her from exploring the full range of her potential, but this in no way holds her back.
* Smoldering Fang: A great sword with a dimly glowing edge that allows Soliana to siphon her sparra into the blade in order to super heat it and increase its lethal potential. The edge of the sword is somewhat dull, but still retains a blades natural cutting ability. The sword relies mostly on its ability to heat its blade and sufficient force to deliver clean slashes.
*Morning’s Flame: A golden two-handed hammer modeled in the shape of a wolf’s head that allows Soliana to channel her sparra into the head and create pulsating rings of fire on the ground with heavy strikes. The siphoned sparra can also be used to increase the already staggering damage the hammer can put out in addition to its first effect.
*Singed Valor: A large golden twin bladed battle axe that uses Soliana’s sparra to create small flaming craters when slammed on the ground. The resulting crater will burn brightly before exploding a moment after, severely burning anyone caught in its moderate blast range.
*Notable abilities/Signature techniques: Skilled in the use of overwhelming power, Soliana is proficient in close combat and takes full use of her explosive power in order to take down massive beasts and overwhelming numbers. Her constant battling and travels have added her greatly in honing her skills and has resulted in some extremely devastating abilities and useful techniques.
*Blast Rune: Soliana gathers sparra into the palm of her hand, causing it to glow a pale white. After which she will place that palm on a surface of her own choosing, be it an object or an enemy. When Soliana does this, she brands the object with a black symbol that resembles a sun with a paw print in its center. The symbol will slowly increase in temperature, changing its color as it does so. The symbol will go from black, to red, and finally to a bright glowing white. Once the symbol reaches the glowing white stage, it will violently explode causing severe damage to whatever it was placed on and anything around it when it detonates. Due to the symbol being seared into the object that Soliana places it on, it cannot be removed unless it is submerged in water for 5 minutes, after which the effects will be nullified. Interestingly enough, the explosions size and power are dependent on the object the symbol is placed on, as a small object causes a small explosion and a large object generates a larger more destructive explosion. However, if the symbol is placed on the ground or a wall, the resulting explosion will have a fixed damage output and blast radius, so it is most effective used on enemies and other objects.
*Einherjar’s Hammer: Soliana gathers sparra into entire hand, causing it to slowly glow a bright white. After doing so, Soliana will punch an object, causing a powerful explosion upon impact. The sparra used in this technique acts as “armor” for Soliana’s hand so she can strike anything she wishes with the full brunt of her strength without injuring herself, even allowing her to grab objects such as the blades or swords with no damage to her. Soliana’s raw strength combined with the explosive power this technique puts out, can devastate anyone hit by it as the overwhelming strength and high heat will not only launch the opponent several hundred yards away, but severely burn them as well. The more sparra Soliana concentrates into her hand, the higher the damage will be. However, if Soliana’s punch doesn’t connect, then the power will be released in the form of a short explosion with significantly weaker strength, seeing as the power is meant to complement Soliana’s initial strike.
*Warrior's Pride: Soliana channels her sparra into the weapon she’s using causing the damaging end to glow an intense bright red. Anytime Soliana swings her weapon it will billow flames, increasing the damaging potential. Depending on the weapon, Soliana gains another effect on top of the weapon merely spitting flames upon being swung. If the weapon is bladed, then it will release a wave of fire that will run along the ground for a good distance if Soliana slams it. If the weapon is blunt, then it will release an explosion of flame when slammed.
*Valkyrie’s Edge: This technique is a more advanced version of her Viking’s Pride technique; however, the power and damage output is greatly increased. When Soliana channels sparra into her weapon she increases the power causing he weapons’ offensive end to glow a bright white instead of bright red. Clashing with Soliana when her weapon glows white is a foolish decision at this point due to the new affects her weapon gains. If an opponent clashes with Soliana’s weapon when it glows white, the resulting impact will release the energy stored in the blade, causing an immediate explosion. The explosion can deal severe damage and the weapon will still retain its ability so long as Soliana supplies it with continuous flow of sparra. Soliana loses the ability to release flames from the edge when its swung, but this is no issue as the power more than makes up for it. Just like its weaker counterpart, Soliana’s weapons gain an additional effect if they are slammed or stabbed into the ground. If the weapon is bladed, then Soliana can send an explosive wave that will run along the ground before stopping; and if the weapon is stabbed into the ground, Soliana can channel the energy in order to trigger a serious of detonations around her. If the weapon is blunt, then it will release a ring of explosions.
*Fox Tail Demolisher: Soliana channels sparra into her tail causing it to release red flickering cinders. When Soliana swings her tail, whatever it hits will be hit with a powerful explosion, causing a great deal of damage. The tail swipe is extremely weak compared to Soliana’s traditional moves, so it depends on the explosive power used in the technique to cause considerable damage. The blast is stronger than the Einherjar’s Hammer technique, but is harder to hit opponents with due to the awkward position the attack is coming from. The blast is strong enough to launch an opponent Soliana’s size a considerable distance away. Unlike the Einherjar’s Hammer technique, if Soliana’s attack misses, it will still retain its power for a full minute before fading.
*Ashen Conqueror: Soliana channels sparra into her body and inhales deeply. When she exhales she releases a torrent of black soot that holds a cluster of dimly glowing cinders. Soliana will then ignite the soot with a small spark that will cause it to explode instantly, resulting in a great deal of damage and severe burns to anyone caught in the blast. Soliana can ignite the soot by either clicking her fangs together, snapping her fingers, or using her weapon to cause a spark. Due to the soot being part of Soliana’s sparra, only she can ignite it.
*Flame Stealer: Soliana absorbs any fire near her in order to regain a good portion of sparra, and depending on the amount absorbed determines the sparra recovered. However, Soliana CANNOT absorb fire that was caused by her explosions. She can only absorb the flames that were created by natural means or other sparra users. When Soliana absorbs fire, the flames are snuffed out, so she can effectively nullify flames hazardous to others and regain sparra at the same time.
*Valhalla’s Welcome: Soliana channels sparra into her entire body, resulting in her body being engulfed by a pale white aura. While this aura is active, any injuries that Soliana has sustained will be healed completely, with any pain being nullified during and after the process. In addition to being able to heal herself, Soliana can heal allies close by, but only those in direct contact with her. Whoever comes into direct contact with Soliana when this aura is present will be greeted by a gentle warming sensation with their injuries being healed in the same manner to how Soliana heals herself. While this skill is usually used with allies, it can unfortunately heal enemies as well if they are able to take advantage of the time the aura is active. When the aura heals injuries, they first appear to be cauterized before vanishing completely, however it can only heal physical damage, so poisons or mental damage can bypass this skill. The maximum amount of time the aura can be up is 5 full minutes, all the while is slowly drains Soliana’s sparra.
*Heat Berserker: This is one of Soliana’s greatest techniques and her trump card when opponents prove to be more than she anticipated. Soliana will channel sparra into her entire body, causing her body temperature to rise immensely. This change is due to her blood LITERALLY boiling and her sparra overtaking her. When Soliana enters this form, there are a few notable changes that occur. The first change is that her body will release copious amounts of steam due to her increased temperature; in addition, golden cinders will steadily flicker off her body. These “cinders” are actually small “flakes” of her sparra that she’s burning away. The second change comes from the sheer amount of heat Soliana puts out. Due to Soliana’s temperature increasing to such a degree, the very ground she walks on will combust or burn. This makes getting close to Soliana difficult if not impossible. In this form, Soliana’s speed, strength, and durability are tripled to the point that she can take down goliaths with no issue whatsoever. While her strength gains a substantial increase, her speed and durability are the more startling changes. Soliana’s speed in this form increases to the point that she can move with instantaneous bursts, making it appear as if she’s teleporting, even being able to perform this swiftness while in mid-air. The speed in which Soliana delivers her blows is also increased to the point of not being able to fully see them, with the only indication being blurry or vanishing blazes. Soliana’s durability and pain resistance increases to the point that she won’t feel any damage she receives while heat berserker is active, and any injuries she does sustain will be healed almost as soon as they occur. However, one thing to note is this healing factor can only go so far, as severed limbs and poison can’t be healed. In addition to the previous effects, Soliana can perform her normal techniques in a fraction of their normal time. One thing that should be noted is this form can also be accessed during moments of seething rage and while it can increase Soliana’s damage output even further, it can impair the accuracy of her attacks. Heat Berserker grants Soliana the ability to use several new techniques that she ONLY perform while its active, skills that are significantly more destructive than her normal moves. While heat berserker gives Soliana a variety of new techniques and more power, it does have its downsides, namely its sparra consumption. The entire time heat berserker is active it will steadily consume Soliana’s sparra, in addition to the sparra cost of the attacks she uses and the constant use of her healing. Heat Berserker will only end if Soliana cancels it herself, if she runs out of sparra, or if she receives enough damage to prematurely knock her out of this state. Because of the demanding cost of sparra and stamina heat berserker consumes, Soliana’s hunger after activation will drastically increase depending on how long the skill was used for. Her maximum duration for heat berserker is 10 full minutes if she is at full strength.
Cinder Destroyer: Soliana channels sparra into both her fists, causing them to glow a bright fiery white. After this, Soliana will bring both her fists together and slam them into the ground with the full brunt of her strength. The explosive power combined with the overwhelming raw power will cause the ground to shatter apart in a large explosive tremor. Due to the force of the tremor and the explosive energy that’s channeled into the ground upon the initial impact, this move can prove fatal to anyone in range of the blast. The aftermath of this attack leaves the area scorched and destroyed, drastically altering the battlefield for Soliana’s foes. This attack has a fairly large range and is impossible to avoid it Soliana is able to pull it off.
Viking Burst: Soliana channels sparra into the soles of her feet and steps off just after doing so. When Soliana pushes off, the sparra will launch her via a strong explosive burst of speed. Due to the sheer amount of power propelling her combined with the instantaneous speed she is launched at, Soliana will appear as if she quickly vanishes, leaving a large scorched crater where she was previously standing. Soliana will only reappear once her speed wears off. Soliana can increase the power to reach farther distances, leaving behind a larger crater accompanied by small flames. Anyone too close to Soliana when she takes off will be hit with a strong burst of energy that can cause a good deal of damage. Soliana can do this multiple times in rapid succession, making it appear as if she's teleporting, but because of the sparra cost, it's ill advised. In addition, this move can be done in mid air but it loses its damaging effect if she's does it without footing. Soliana has good control over this technique so she can get close to her target without overshooting the range. Despite this techniques use, it is not good for pursuing an enemy, merely a means of closing the gap.
Valkrus Sun Crusher: Soliana channels a large portion of her sparra into her hand causing it to glow a bright white and parts of her arm to be set ablaze. Soliana will then punch her opponent with the full brunt of her strength, causing a shockwave strong enough to create a crater around her upon impact. The blow is able to send the recipient miles away or launch them high into the sky. While the initial impact is devastating enough, the true power comes from Soliana passing her explosive energy into the opponent upon the initial punch. After a moment, the energy that was transferred into the opponent will explode, erupting into a large devastating pillar of spiraling flame if grounded or a large fireball if airborne. Due to the force and speed the opponent is launched at, the resulting explosion will be far enough away that it won’t endanger anyone close by.
Ragnarok: Scorched Earth: Easily the strongest technique in Soliana’s arsenal, this attack requires the remainder of her sparra and all of her stamina in order to use. With Heat Berserker active, Soliana super heats her sparra, causing her entire body to glow a bright white and her hair to glow a bright burning red. Her entire body will release copious flickering cinders while her temperature increases further. The amount of power causes Soliana to gently float into the air, after which she will release the full extent of the power she has stored in a colossal explosion that can span for miles, destroying everything in the blast. After the explosion, the entire landscape will be nothing more than ash, with a drained Soliana resting amidst the scorched remains of the entire area. This technique drains Soliana’s stamina and sparra to absolute zero, disabling her movement for a full 24 hours, after which she will need to regain all of her lost strength, stamina, and sparra.
*Sparra Induced Capabilities:
Heat Negation: Thanks to Soliana’s sparra type, she is able to successfully thrive in any hot or arid environment, due to her body being able to regulate her body temperature enough so that she feels comfortable regardless of how hot the atmosphere is. It should also be noted that lava and magma are in no way hazardous to her and that setting foot in a pool of it is comparable to a hot bath for her. However, Soliana is still susceptible to colder climates and must use her sparra in order to increase her body temperature so she is not stifled by freezing climates.
Ravenous Hunger: While not a power, this is a negative byproduct of Soliana unchaining her sparra. Due to the amount of stamina and sparra she consumes, Soliana requires much more food due to the increase in metabolism. As such she can eat 5 times her body weight in food if she is throughly drained. Other times her diet can be seen as semi-normal.
And there you have it!! Another beautiful spotlight pic featuring the barbarian fox Soliana, courtesy of my good bud

*TRIVIA: Soliana is the second character who has a temper that many fear or are cautious of. The others are Zager, Fiorah, and Tatsumaki.
