Two lonely warriors, men of the Scarlet Legion, were tasked to patrol the lonely Ferrum Salt Flats in their Ictus-class Gladius. Even the best need to have a break on occasion.
This one took so long. I've been practicing a new style a lot recently, but everything made with it as of late has either been spoilery or hast been worth posting. This wonderful image took me the better part of two days and then some- my gods it took a lot of work. But we have it now.
Planning to do this with other Gladius models. Dunno why I started with an Ictus but we did.

That looks fucking bad ass! I freaking love how- as opposed to the crisp shining laboratory fresh looking armor of the generic mecha- your Gladius look worn and rugged and like they've taken a beating, and still have a shit ton more to take before the oil even needs changed xD And the tally marks on the gun just makes it seem that much more legit.
I can almost feel the scene looking at this. It's really great work!! :3

The detail on the Gladius in this one is still quite impressive. Intricately detailed machinery is something I used to enjoy drawing quite a bit, in some older concepts of my fursona and imaginary worlds.
I recently finished catching up on Horrors of the Holy, by the way, good stuff as usual! Atmospheric and very unnverving at times with Val's disturbing gorey visions and all the strange creature encounters. The concept of some sort of blood-soaked, twisted mirror world to the normal one is one that's long fascinated me.
