As I stare down the road of life, all I see is nothing-ness. Perhaps if I keep on walking, I'll find the truth.
Maybe one day...
Maybe one day...

Think of it this way, hombre:
If you knew what was ahead, life would be boring as hell.
Also, if you gotta go down any road, see if you can't do so in a shriner car. They're comically undersized and a great excuse to wear a fez.
Seriously, though, your life will likely last you the rest of your life. In that span a great number of things will happen; some good and some bad. You will have days that make you want to knife everyone you meet and days that make you want to hug everyone you meet. One day you may find the truth. The next you may lose it.
You will make, lose, forget, and remember friends and associates in that time. Know that if you stay in one place there are still places to go. Know that if you go places there is always somewhere to return. Look ahead, yes, but also to the sides, above you, behind you, and below you. Close your eyes from time to time. Search your whole life for something to bring you up when you're down, but know the whole time it exists, without doubt.
In all this, the only thing you have control of is yourself; how you act and react and believe and love and hate. Do all of these in their own measure at their own times.
And wear fun hats.
